I'm about to build a PC angled towards home recordings, and I was wondering if anybody had a reccomendation for a particular soundcard model or brand. I'm not wanting anything top of the range or crazily expensive, just something at a relatively reasonable price that will last me for a while and does the job well. I'm not looking to open up a studio; I'm just looking for something that I can use to sit and work on my own home recordings with. I'm very new to all of this, so if anybody could suggest anything along these lines or help out in any way, it would be much appreciated :) Cheers.
